Directed by Chris Williams, the film stars the voices of Karl Urban, Zaris-Angel Hator, Jared Harris, and Marianne Jean-Baptiste and was released on June 24, 2022, with a limited theatrical release before premiering on Netflix on July 8. The film received positive reviews from critics and was the most successful animated film from Netflix, with 165 million hours viewed. It has been nominated for the Best Animated Feature award at the 95th Academy Awards.
